Sometimes I get all wrapped up in what is going on in the
world even to the point of getting down and worrying about it. Then the Lord
has a way of bringing me back to the reality that “this world is not my home,
I’m just passing through.” According to the Word of God we are pilgrims, aliens
and this life is but just a vapor. What would happen if we lived in that
reality all the time? How would it affect our boldness for the Gospel, our
checkbook, relationships, work life, etc.
Let us challenge each other to live according to truth and
the fact that the world is winding down to one great feast and that is the
Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Out of mankind, there is going to be an elite
group of people there, that is, the redeemed. I will be there because of Jesus
Christ and I hope you will be as well. Let us see who else we can get there by
not only living the gospel but proclaiming the Gospel.
